Modern Woodmen of America, Rock Island, Illinois, has appointed Jackie R. Zachmeyer, Milan, Illinois, to its board of directors.
Jackie retired from Deere & Company in 2020 as vice president of internal audit. Her skills and experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, project and risk management, and much more will serve Modern Woodmen and its members well.
A graduate of Monmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, she has served on the college's board of trustees since 2012. Jackie is a certified public accountant with continued professional development through the Leading Women Executives program, Chicago, and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
During a 27-year career with John Deere, she built relationships around the world and earned both a Deere & Company CEO Award and the Construction & Forestry President’s Award.
Additionally, she volunteers as an ambassador for organ donation through Gift of Hope and serves as an active big sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley.
